Shooting the Curl!

Riding the barrel in surfing is like the pocket rockets of poker,
like the try in rugby and like the check mate in chess!
its pretty much incomparable to any feeling I've experienced before, and only a small percentage of us
humans are lucky enough to experience it!

Rooi Els in the Boland has some potential to deliver the odd shack!

But there are also a lot of amazing things in life that are incomparable to barrels, not that ones better than the other, they are completely different things and give you completely different feelings in completely different amazing ways! People and places can make your heart pound like a 6 feet stand up Curl. The above photo deminstrates happyness in a different way to surfing!
